Microsoft Office just celebrated its first anniversary and the stats prove the assertion made by Microsoft that Office is still the most loved and trusted productivity solution by majority of the people, both for enterprise customers and regular consumers.

Now, as the month of June is approaching its end, there are two announcements that are expected from Microsoft within coming few days.

1. Release of Office 2010 SP1

2. Public launch of Microsoft Office 365

Release of Service Pack 1 for Office 2010 was long pending so existing users are dying to get their hands on the software update and get the whole bunch of patches and updates that will come along with Service Pack 1.

Launch of Office 365 will be very critical from Microsoft’s perspective as Office 365 is a direct answer to Google Docs, especially for enterprise customers, which mainly drive the revenues of Microsoft Business division through Office suite sales and buying other enterprise level services by Microsoft.
